PRIVATE SCHOOL
IZUM ERAKOOL
LEARN AND GROW TOGETHER!
Võru 11, Tallinn
IZUM ERAKOOL is a Candidate School for the IB primary years programme.
This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

These are schools that share a common philosophy— a commitment to high quality, challenging,
international education that IZUM ERAKOOL believes is important for our students.
IZUM Private School is a modern, growing, and participant-focused educational environment where everyone, with freedom of choice, shapes their own vision of the future and is ready to change the world for the better.
OUR SCHOOL'S MISSION:
EDUCATION WITH FREEDOM!
OUR SCHOOL'S VISION:
To create a space for people where the focus is not on learning, but on personal development, where people can be truly free and happy.

7 REASONS WHY CHILDREN LOVE STUDYING AT IZUM SCHOOL (AND PARENTS TOO)

FULL CYCLE OF EDUCATION FROM AGES 4 TO 16
Families don't need to search for a "decent" kindergarten, then a "decent" school, and then additional clubs and studios.
IZUM offers a full cycle of education, including preschool education, preparation, a strong primary and secondary (basic) level, supplementary education, and activities based on interests.

MULTILINGUAL EDUCATION
Instruction will be provided in various languages: the basic ones are Russian, Estonian, English, and others.
Linguistic diversity makes a person truly free and open to the world.

INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS (FRIENDS)
The school employs international volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps program. They enrich the learning environment with cultural diversity and give students the opportunity to interact with people from different countries, broadening their horizons and understanding of the world.

WE ARE RELEVANT AND MODERN
We learn and grow together. All participants are on the same level, in equal conditions, and equally.

This is a process of exploration, information retrieval, learning, and discovery, in close interaction with the educational institution, family, the surrounding world, trends, progress, and the times.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Every person is unique, and at IZUM School, we respect this individuality. We create an environment where children can safely express themselves, develop their interests, and learn to understand themselves and others. Here, it is important not only to explore the world around them, but also to grow as individuals—with confidence, respect, and purpose.

IZUM SCHOOL HAS AN INTERESTING EXTRACURRICULUM PROGRAM
Our students are not focused solely on academics. They have the opportunity to do more than just academics. Clubs, studios, interest groups, project-based learning, youth activity projects, and experiential learning.

Camping in city and country camps during school holidays. Modular learning at the "Forest School" at the Tammispea Recreation Center.

AT IZUM SCHOOL, WE DESIGN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS TOGETHER.
Our education will help you acquire the necessary competencies for life and the knowledge for further study.

UNIQUENESS OF THE SCHOOL:

There are no bells ringing
no one is in a hurry; everyone knows when, where, and why they need to go

They don't scold or judge children for their mistakes
They help them sort them out and put them into their "storage" of experience

An informal approach to learning
Informal/alternative learning

Admission to school doesn't begin at age 7,
but at age 4
NOT in classrooms, but in spaces
Learning takes place in a comfortable environment

There is no comparison with the successes of others, only your own victories and achievements

Instruction is provided in three languages, not one: Russian, Estonian, and English

Not graded on a 5-point scale
for work completed (verbal assessment will be used until 6th grade)
There's no homework
there's simply no time to do it, because after school comes the time for hobby activities and projects, and during the holidays there's camp.
MISSION + VALUES + VISION =
